 Abstract

FDI is an important source, a cradle of development and an essential component in the growth strategy of both developed and developing countries and hence the policies are designed and framed in such a mannerso as to stimulate inward FDI. It is a major source of finance from foreign countries which means that countries with meagre amounts of capital can attract finance influx from other wealthier countries. FDI has been one of the crucial player in China's exponential economic growth. It creates a lucrative/profitable situation for both - the host and the home countries. It promotes an open business climate, and helps in building advanced technologies and promotes advanced employee training programs, besides helping Government revenue to multiply. FDI inflow in the last two and a half decades, stimulated by globalization and liberalization of the Indian economy has played a complementary role in bridging the gap and filling the massive lag between domestic investments and saving. It is a preferred source of funds from foreign countries for the simple reason that they are not debt creating and are not volatile thus reducing the associated risk and their returns depend upon the projects financed by the investor, which means that the amount of return is in control of the investor to a certain degree.

The 14th Punjab Vidhan elections which were held in 2012 reversed the trend of the history of electoral politics of Punjab by beating anti-incumbency pattern in the state. The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) the main regional political party of the state and Bhartiya Janata Party (SAD-BJP) alliance has defeated the Congress Party for second consecutive term. The present paper is an attempt to analyze the significant phenomena of beginning of the trend of second consecutive in Punjab politics

 Abstract

Women are found suffering from social, cultural and political biases in the traditional male dominated society compared to male counterparts. Women have limited access to educational and employment opportunities. They are found to have less power and ability to do activities like men counterparts do; even they have the least authority to do something at their own initiation. Due to modernization and urbanization, females at various levels have started working to carp her livelihood and support their family. Still they are not getting that authority to execute their plans in the family. Decision-making is of paramount importance as a mental process in solving problem of acquiring and using resources to achieve goals. Decision may be in response to a request or in response to non-verbal cues from the learners. No society can progress if awareness and developmental urge are absent among women.

 Abstract

Induction motors are highly nonlinear in nature. Vectorial analysis with rotor flux orientation is used to formation of mathematical model of the motor for speed control. A model reference adaptive PI controller is used for speed control. Adaptation mechanism uses MIT rule. Simulation results show that bacterial foraging algorithm (BFA) Based Model reference PI Controller fast response when it compares with other PI controller.
