 Abstract

To understand regionalism, we need to know various dimensions of the region. Region as a geographical unit, is delimited form each other. Region as a social system, reflects the relation between different human beings and groups. Regions are an organised cooperation in cultural, economic, political or military fields. Region acts as a subject with distinct identity, language, culture and tradition. Regionalism is an ideology and political movement that seeks to advance the causes of regions. As a process it plays role within the nation as well as outside the nation i.e. at international level. At the international level, regionalism refers to transnational cooperation to meet a common goal or to resolve a shared problem or it refers to a group of countries such as-Western Europe, or Southeast Asia, linked by geography, history or economic features. Used in this sense, regionalism refers to attempts to reinforce the links between these countries economic

 Abstract

This article presents a new evolutionary optimization approach named Exchange Market Algorithm (EMA), which is based on the intelligent behavior of shareholders in the share market, for the in-field efficiency determination of three-phase cage induction motor (EDIM). The proposed method exploits the measuring data of stator voltage, stator current, power factor, input power, stator resistance and rotor speed of the in-field three-phase induction motor. The EMA algorithm is employed to estimate the motor equivalent circuit parameters by minimizing the error between the measured and estimated data instead of using no-load and locked rotor tests. Then, the efficiency of the in-field induction motor is estimated by using modified equivalent circuit model which cogitates stray load losses. Since EMA algorithm expends double exploration and exploitation characteristics in each iteration, it affords high solution quality and fast computational time. The proposed algorithm is implemented and tested on 5 HP motor. The results ratify the potential and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm compared to torque cage method, equivalent circuit method (ECM) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method.

 Abstract

Motor Drives are predominant on three phase motor drives. Multiphase motor drives are suitable for heavy loads and high torque density. Operation of the load is nonlinear in nature due to impact of additional injection of voltage and current sources with fundamental frequency which dissipated as heat in the load. Impact of additional parameters on fundamental frequency causes harmonics distortion hence, reduction of the Total Harmonics Distortion (THD) is becomes main objective in motor drives. Since variable speed multiphase motor drives requires power converters for their supply hence multiphase Inverters plays major role in the field of motor drives. Suppression of harmonics with variable amplitude sinusoidal pulse width modulation technique by using Voltage Source Inverters (VSI) is the main objective of presented work. In this work, the desired output is achieved by implementing the Simulink model of nine phase VSI to drive nine phase induction motor with Variable Amplitude Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (VASPWM) technique. The Harmonics and THD of VASPWM with and without filter is compared using Matlab/Simulink.

 Abstract

Information sharing and occupation fulfillment are basic components for representatives to assume a functioning job in accomplishing authoritative targets. Employees look for data to achieve their assignments and furthermore to stay receptive to numerous normal needs. The expanding rivalry, improving innovation and rising globalization has cleared a path for driving the information-based economy. Knowledge is a potentially significant resource to the firm as it may possess valuable, rare, inimitable and non-substitutable characteristics, particularly, if it has a tacit dimension The study was to assess the degree to which work fulfilment impacts information sharing practices, and furthermore to investigate how job fulfilment and information sharing practices influence representative execution and profitability. The standard target of the investigation was to know the Relationship between Knowledge and Information sharing and Job Satisfaction of representatives in the IT business regarding chosen organizations in Bangalore. The exploration study refers to a top to bottom examination of a specific circumstance instead of intending to have measurable investigation. The quantitative techniques were applied to investigating the connection between information sharing and employment fulfillment. The quantitative research strategies are utilized when the reason for existing is to get factual or numerical proof of the exploration issue. The present study is a helpful, simple and adaptable tool for gathering essential information legitimately from representatives in the chose organizations in Bengaluru. In such a manner, the sample was created to gather information from employees of the IT business about information sharing practices, profitability, and occupation fulfilment. The discoveries of the investigation saw that the relationship between work fulfillment and information sharing is profoundly connected with esteem. These discoveries propose that higher is information sharing; higher will be representative execution in IT Sector

 Abstract

The present study deals with the documentation and evaluation of medicinal plants used by the tribal people in the primary health care in and around Anantagiri and Dhamagundam forest area, Rangareddy district. About 40 villages have been chosen for the study and yielded a valuable knowledge of plant medicine of the locals. The resource persons are mostly lambadas, chenchus and some elderly people of local villages. The study started in the month of May, 2012 and went on up to May, 2014. It revealed valuable information about the ethno medicine of the local tribals of this Dist. . About 138 plant species of 36 families have been documented in this study and an itinerary is prepared according to alphabetical order of the diseases, families along with the vernacular names, botanical; names, drug formulation of drug formulation and methods of drug administration as told by the herbal practitioners
