 Abstract

The aim of this paper is to prevent the crowd in ration shops using android application. First, the details like ration card number should be given in the android application, which is then connected to the corresponding ration shop. Then, the product details such as product names with quantity will be displayed in mobile application. This application can connect to respective servers for accessing data which will surely help the customers to reserve their tokens online without waiting on queue.

 Abstract

DC power systems and stationary battery in switchgear and control applications are typically designed and operated as ungrounded systems which means that there is no intentional low resistance or solid connection to ground from either the positive polarity or negative polarity of the dc system. Ground faults happen when a current-carrying conductor makes unwanted contact with equipment grounding conductor, or any piece of metal that is grounded. This can occur through damaged conductor insulation or with improper installation. This is a potentially dangerous situation. This project module is used to detect multiple faults in DC system mostly connected to protective relays in Thermal Power Plant. The previous method which is in use is the Clamp Method. In this method, if a fault occurs a CRO is connected to the DC supply using a clamp and the fault is detected. This method is time consuming and non-economical while considering a huge number of DC circuits. Hence this project module overcomes the former method problems and automatically detects the various DC faults. The parameters like current, voltage and power values can be monitored during the normal condition and also during fault conditions. This monitoring process can be done using Blynk application server through mobile. In this project module the process of detecting the DC faults is done by using INA219 sensor, ESP8266 Wi-Fi chip and ESP32 Wi-Fi module. This module is versatile and can be used for any specified voltage range.

 Abstract

In the field of agriculture, use of proper method of irrigation is important because the main reason is the lack of rains & scarcity of land reservoir water. The continuous extraction of water from earth is reducing the water level due to which lot of land is coming slowly in the zones of unirrigated land. Another very important reason of this is due to unplanned use of water due to which a significant amount of water goes waste. For this purpose, we use this automatic plant irrigation system. The system derives power from solar energy through photo-voltaic cells. Hence, dependency on erratic commercial power is not required. The main objective of this project work is to make possible Irrigation Automatic using solar power and cost effective self built moisture sensor.

 Abstract

Fire accidents occur often which endanger the environment and the human lives. The life of the fire fighters is always at a risk. The aim of this paper is to design a robot which acts as a fire extinguisher. The robot is sent to the fire prone place and it puts off the fire which replaces the human work of manually extinguishing the fire. Even though the robot is small in size, it performs versatile activities of searching towards the fire using different sensors, capturing the images and sending live updates to the remote user through IoT and exterminating the fire. In addition, the proposed robot also avoids the obstacle when moving forward in search of fire in the automatic mode and sends an alert message to the remote user who then controls the robot through the web page manually based on the live streaming of the place the ip web camera attached to the robot until the fire has been detected.

 Abstract

The earliest form of sewer cleaning was hand excavation whereby labourers loaded sediment into barrows which were moved down the sewer and then lifted out at manholes by bucket. The work is not only dirty, unpleasant and dangerous. The major problem in manual scavenging is the health issues faced by the workers and more over the cleaning is done by human beings because of earning. Nowadays even though automation plays a very important role in all industrial applications, the proper disposal of sewages from industries and commercials are still a challenging task. Drainage cleaning system is proposed to overcome the real time problems. In this project our aim is to replace the manual work in drainage cleaning by introducing a semi- automated system in an efficient way to control the disposal of wastages and with regular filtration of wastages. In our model, a pneumatic piston is connected in a wire rope which in turn is coupled with kinematic linkages. The linkage from the frame is to be submerged into the sewage. When the pneumatic piston is actuated, the grippers which are provided at the bottom expand and collect the solid wastes from the sewage. Ultimately our motto is to fabricate a machine which is cost effective as well as efficient in working.

 Abstract

Loss of life inside an enclosed car cabin due to the suffocation though rare but it is evident and phenomenal all these days. Inside a closed space or cabin, People inhale their own exhaled air that carries a greater proportion of carbon dioxide (CO2). In addition to this, the case of oxygen gas getting depleted leads to further increase of suffocation. So in order to help people, infants, pets who/which get caught in these unavoidable and unexpected situations, this project gives a solution that may prevent people from reaching fatal situations. A simple concept of air diffusion from region of higher concentration to lower concentration is used here. The theme of the project is to detect the critical suffocating level of CO2 and prevent suffocation by automatically controlling the power windows of the car to shut open, thereby allowing fresh air to come inside the car cabin and avoiding suffocation. In this project a cubical glass tank as a substitute for car cabin and carbon dioxide cylinder as a source of CO2 for our experimental purpose and convenience. Here gas sensors are used to sense the level of CO2, the sensor gives the signal to Arduino UNO chip. Arduino sends signal to the DC motor of the power window. The entire setup is run by a 12V battery. Once the DC motor receives the signal from Arduino, it runs and pulls the window down. In real life application the sensor and controller are replaced by a printed circuit board which comes as a part of the car management system.
