Abstract: Composite materials which main constituent part is a metal are called Metal Matrix Composites. The other compounds may be metal too, ceramics or even organics. They are well known for their excellent thermo physical and mechanical properties. Reinforcement is used to improve different properties of main material, such as wear resistance, hardness, fatigue resistance, friction coefficient, thermal conductivity and others. As a result, during the last years, MMCs have found a lot of application in automobile industry for the production of breaks and parts of engines and in aerospace industry for the production of structural components, as well as in electrical and electronic industry and in many other applications. MMCs can be produced by many ways, such as, powder blending and consolidation, foil diffusion bonding, electroplating, spray deposition, stir casting and others. In this research stir casting was used as processing technique for the production of Aluminum Metal Matrix composites reinforced by silicon carbide (SiC) particles. The morphologies of the produced composite material were examined using optical microscope. And also, mechanical properties like hardness and tensile strength of developed composite material with varying SiC weight percentage were tested. The composite was prepared by Stir Casting Method. Mechanical properties of the samples are measured and validated. The tested samples are examined using Scanning Electron microscope (SEM) for the characterization of microstructure on the surface of composites. The results of the research work show that the proposed composites are compared with Al based metal matrix composites at corresponding values of test parameters.

Acanthocephalus probirum n. sp. (Palaeacanthocephala: Echinorhynchidae) is describe from the intestine of Clarius magur (Hamilton, 1822) collected from Sekmai river. The new species is distinguished from other members of Acanthocephalus by features of its trunk which is small clavate, slightly expanded medially and bluntly pointed posteriorly. It is further distinguished by having a cylindrical proboscis armed with 12-15 longitudinal rows of 6-10 stout hooks, the anterior half regularly uniform in size and shape, decreasing in size toward the base. Furthermore, the leminisci are saccate and shorter than the proboscis receptacle and the testes are in the middle third of trunk, diagonal, spherical and small relative to the body. This is the first record of the genus Acanthocephalus from freshwater fish in Manipur.

In the olden days, traditional practices like eating while sitting on the floor, eating breakfast early in the morning, washing hands before eating, cooking with earthen cookware, eating freshly prepared foods, eating with hands etc. were followed religiously until modernization and industrialization came and make a twist, more and more health problems are arising each day by day because of unhealthy lifestyle. People because of their busy schedule many time saving equipment, easy to cook Utensils, fast food are produced in mass. People unintentionally adapt these lifestyle but little did they know it could cause them many health problems. Including cancer ,hypertension, obesity, diabetes etc. An old proverb states: Prevention is better than cure “many of health issues are related by having unhealthy conventional foods but we are also relieved to know that eating nutritious food can solve this problem. Traditional foods are known to be packed full of these nutrients and have many functions in our body. Traditional food has been passed on from generation to generation. It is a gift from Parramatta that not only provides strength to our body but soothes our soul and mind too. It has been valued since time immemorial because it defines the rich culture of one’s nationality. Apart from these, it is also more sustainable and environment friendly as it reduces the carbon footprint and eventually saving more energy to store and transport. Many of the world’s problems regarding food insecurity and malnutrition could be erased by adopting a traditional food system. Eating traditional crops like millet, jowar etc., helps control blood glucose levels, reduce migraine, heart attack, helps to lower cholesterol, prevent cardiovascular diseases, helps people suffering from celiac disease because of its gluten free property, etc. Traditional millet is eaten as roti, bread, porridge, snacks etc. As people became more educated, people started to realize the superior quality and its significance of eating local food in this modernized era and that is why local foods are in heavy demand presently.

Banking services and technology are being used together since last 2 decades, but the pace with which technology being used in banking services has increased in last few years. The year 2020 marked with the global pandemic Covid 19 has accelerated the use of technology in banking services at a very high pace. This research paper aims at finding the impact of adoption of technology for banking services on the attitude of customers by utilizing the extended TAM model. Perceived usefulness (PU), Perceived ease of use (PEOU) and Perceived risk (PR) are used as three independent variables and attitude is used as independent variable. The effect of demographical variables such as gender and age are also seen on adoption of banking technology 101 responses were collected. The scale of Cheng et all (2006) and Feartherman and Pavlou (2003) was used to collect the responses. T-test, one way ANOVA and Linear Regression are used to analyse the data. The result shows that the effect of age and sex are insignificant in adoption of technology for online banking and the perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived risk shows the significant effect on the attitude of consumer in online banking.

The use of ICT in education provides itself to more students-centred learning settings and frequently this creates some pressures for teachers and students, but with the world moving rapidly into digital media and information. The responsibility of ICT in education is becoming more and more significant and consequence will continue to grow and extend into 21st century. As technology has created revolutionize in all aspects of the world, it is also changing our prospects of what students must learn in order to functions in the new world economy. Students will have to learn to pilot and navigate through large amounts of information, to analyze and make decisions, and become proficient with the new knowledge realms in an increasingly technological society. Students will need to be lifelong learners, collaborating with others in accomplishing complex tasks, and effectively using different systems for representing and communicating knowledge to others. A change from teacher-centered instruction to learner-centered instruction is required to facilitate students to attain the new knowledge and skills. In fact, learning is an individual or solitary process. Most of the students wanted to think themselves. They wanted to design and make things, to experiment and to engage in first-hand observation. They want to learn in collaboration with peers, teachers, parents, and others when they are actively engaged in meaningful, interesting tasks. For this purpose, ICT provide can opportunities for teachers and students to collaborate with others across the country and across the globe. They also provide new tools to support this collaborative learning in the classroom and online.
